This policy explains what personal information The Silver Sparrow collects when you visit our website or shop with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean The Silver Sparrow. When we say "website," we mean thesilversparrow.com and any pages that belong to it.

By using our website, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Information you give us. This includes your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the details of your order when you make a purchase. It also includes anything you send us through a contact form, an email, or a styling or appointment request, and your email address if you sign up for our newsletter or announcements.

Payment information. When you pay online, your card details are entered into our payment processor's secure system. We don't see or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation of the payment, the last four digits of the card, and the billing address.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the pages that sent you to us, and the date and time of your visit. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.

Information from other sources. If you contact us through social media or a review site, we may see the details you make public, such as your name and the content of your message.

We use your information to:

• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We don't sell personal information. If our advertising or analytics tools count as "sharing" under California law, you can opt out by emailing us or using your browser's Global Privacy Control setting.
• Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We don't collect sensitive personal information beyond payment details handled by our processor.
• Right to non-discrimination. We won't treat you differently or charge you different prices because you used any of these rights.

To make a request, email us or call 415-996-0052. You may also use an authorized agent, and we'll ask for written proof that they're acting for you. We'll respond within 45 days, and if we need more time we'll tell you why.

Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents can ask once a year for a list of the categories of personal information we've disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We don't make those disclosures.

Our website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Our site may link to other websites, including social media pages and the sites of brands we carry. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies when you visit them.
